Airmaster manufactures electrically actuated constant speed propeller systems designed to deliver high performance, reliability, and simplified operation for light aircraft.
In a constant speed configuration, the electric governor (AC200 or AC300 controller) automatically adjusts (governs) propeller pitch to maintain a target engine/propeller RPM selected by the pilot. If RPM rises above the target, pitch is increased (adjusted coarse), if RPM fails below the target, pitch is reduced (adjusted fine).
